ZeroSwap: Journey So Far

When the ZeroSwap was conceptualised in 2020, our goal was to build a protocol that enables users to swap assets on-chain in DeFi, with the most simplified UX, reducing the cost of swaps to near zero. Hence, we built a gas-less, zero-fee protocol that allows swapping at the best rates.ZeroSwap V1 implemented gasless swaps, the first across the industry to have implemented a zero gas feature. It cemented our vision that it is possible to build a DeFi aggregator to reduce dependency on maintaining native tokens in wallets while keeping the ethos of decentralisation.ZeroSwap V2 features, followed by the success of V1, complemented the concept of simplified UX on-chain; we implemented gasless swaps in cross-chain and many other innovations, such as limit orders, batch-trades, a utility for $ZEE stakers, meta-aggregator, and distributed over $1m+ in grants, and rewards.

ZeroSwap V3, a dedicated L1 chain built on Cosmos SDK, is an end-game solution for revolutionising decentralised finance (DeFi). This is a pivotal step for ZeroSwap as we evolve from a multichain-compatible aggregator protocol to a full-fledged blockchain ecosystem with enhanced scalability, interoperability and user-centric features.
